Met een klein toegewijd team werkt hij\, samen met de eilanden en de ministeries in Nederland\, aan de brede duurzame economische ontwikkeling van de Caribische Gebiedsdelen. Het team richt zich op een breed scala aan thema’s zoals: ondernemerschap\, export stimulering\, toerisme\, duurzame energie\, landbouw en natuurbeheer. \nIn 2016 heeft Ronald samen met het Ministerie van Buitenlands Zaken het initiatief genomen om de exportinstrumenten van RVO beschikbaar te maken voor de Caribische Gebiedsdelen in het Koninkrijk. Sinds 1 januari 2018 kunnen door een gezamenlijke inspanning van onze counterparts op de eilanden\, Buitenlandse Zaken en RVO de export instrumenten door alle ondernemers in het Konikrijk gebruikt worden. Het Ministerie van Economische Ontwikkeling is al vanaf het eerste begin een belangrijke partner in de promotie van deze instrumenten en dankzij hen hebben reeds vele ondernemers succesvol gebruik kunnen maken hiervan. \nIn zijn presentatie zal Ronald ingaan op de beschikbare instrumenten\, hun doel\, de voorwaarden en hoe deze door de ondernemers kunnen worden aangevraagd.
